Dave Merrell is a retired partner with the Greater Vancouver practice of Grant Thornton LLP, chartered accountants. Dave has been involved with MusicFest Vancouver, formerly Festival Vancouver, as the partner in charge of the audit in the first festival in 2000, and as a member of the Executive Committee and Board since that time. Dave has been at various times on the Boards of other not-for-profits, notably as the President of the Multiple Sclerosis Society (BC) Division (and a National Board member) and the Finance Chair/Treasurer of the Gateway Theatre in Richmond.
