Thank you for supporting MusicFest Vancouver! Volunteering is one of the best ways to help the festival bring classical, world music, and jazz to Vancouver every August, while meeting new people, gaining experience, and enjoying some of the best concerts of the summer!

Volunteer Orientation Evening

At the orientation, you will receive your volunteer schedules, nametags, t-shirts, and complimentary tickets, as well as learn about this year’s festival and your volunteer positions. The orientation is mandatory for all volunteers.

This year’s orientation is on Monday July 26/2010 at 6:30pm at Christ Church Cathedral (690 Burrard at W. Georgia, Vancouver).

Volunteer Benefits

Aside from the social benefits of any volunteer work, volunteering for MusicFest Vancouver gives you the opportunity to earn complimentary tickets to concerts! Each volunteer will receive a General Admission (GA) Pass, which will allow entrance into most GA shows subject to availability. Depending on number of hours worked, you will be eligible for complimentary tickets to other festival concerts.

This year’s volunteer concert is Sounds of Australia at VanDusen Garden – Sunday, August 15 at 7pm. Each volunteer who works 20+ hours will receive one complimentary ticket to this concert, and can purchase one extra ticket at half price! There will also be a buffet volunteer appreciation dinner in the garden prior to the concert.
